After signing up for your Small Business Exchange
hosting service from CoefficientHosting.com, you can start
migrating your email over to our systems.
If at any time you have questions, please contact our

follow these basic steps:
Set up your mail account through HostPilot
- Log in to the HostPilot Control Panel with your
username and password
- Create mailboxes for users (MS Exchange Server 2007 > Mailboxes)
- Create contacts (MS Exchange Server 2007 >
Contacts)
- Create distribution Lists (MS Exchange Server 2007 > Distribution Lists)
- Create top-level public folders (MS Exchange Server 2007 > Public Folders)
Forward Email from your old server
- Place forwarders on the original mailboxes to
forward email to <username>@<accountname>.hostpilot.com.
Note: This email alias can be found
in HostPilot under
MS Exchange Server 2007 > Mailboxes > Settings >
Email Addresses.
Create your new Outlook 2007 profile
- End users should log in to
https://exchange.coefficienthosting.com/mm using their
email address and new CoefficientHosting.com Exchange
password
- Choose Setup from the Navigation Pane on the
left
- Click the link 'Download the Outlook Profile
Helper'
- This Helper will create a new Outlook profile
called "CoefficientHosting.com Exchange"
Import email messages into your new Exchange mailboxes
Option 1: Follow instructions as
defined in our Knowledge Base article:

Option 2: Provide Intermedia with
PST files as defined in Migration by CoefficientHosting.com
Update MX records
Option 1: Contact your current DNS
provider and update your MX record. The information on
record about your account can be found in HostPilot
under MS Exchange Server > Domains
Option 2: Host the new domain with
CoefficientHosting.com. This will require updating the
Authoritative Name Servers with your Registrar. You must
verify all necessary records exist on CoefficientHosting.com's
server to ensure that services such as your Web site
continue to function correctly. For more details see our
